Omaha National Group, Inc., a workers' compensation insurance provider, has appointed Joan Klucarich as chief actuary.
Klucarich joins the company from Risk & Regulatory Consulting, where she served as actuarial manager. Her previous roles include chief reserving actuary at Applied Underwriters and actuarial director for Fireman's Fund Insurance Company.
She holds credentials as a fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and is a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

Omaha National, founded in 2016, focuses on providing workers' compensation coverage to small and mid-size companies facing higher injury risks due to manual labor and hands-on work. The company operates through a network of more than 2,500 agencies, leveraging proprietary software to boost its operational capabilities.
The firm has recently secured funding of $105 million from several investors. The funding consortium comprises lead investor Agman alongside others like Accomplice, HighSage Ventures, Tull Investments, and Cohen & Co.
The company currently employs over 200 with more than $190 million of in-force premiums. Its coverage maintains an AM Best A- (Excellent) rating.
