OLI Insurance Services, a subsidiary of Heffernan Insurance Brokers, has announced the acquisition of The Henkes Welsh Agency, a Nevada-based firm focused on property-casualty and employee benefits for commercial and personal clients.
The Henkes Welsh Agency, headquartered in Reno, Nev., was founded in 2006 by Larry Henkes and Cary Welsh. Henkes will continue to serve as president of the firm. The company will operate autonomously as a subsidiary of OLI.
“Our staff and I are looking forward to providing additional services and products to our clients,” Henkes said. “This new partnership will further enhance the ability to continue to assist our clients in meeting the goals of their risk management programs, as well as provide new opportunities for the staff of Henkes Welsh.”
