Molnar’s professional journey began on the lacrosse field, where he played at the collegiate and professional levels. Balancing sports with a full-time job taught him invaluable lessons. “It taught me how to manage my time and set my schedule to achieve success both professionally and personally,” he shared.
Founded in 2016, POPIC addresses a critical gap in tenant liability insurance. “We saw that residents were paying a lot for insurance coverage with very little claims reimbursement,” Molnar explained. POPIC combines private insurance structures with comprehensive administrative services, making coverage more affordable while streamlining processes for property managers.
“When we started, we had one client with 15,000 units. Today, we serve over 130 clients and manage over two million units nationwide,” Molnar said, highlighting the company’s growth.
Molnar emphasized the importance of building the right team and learning from challenges. “Finding the right people and moving on quickly, if it’s not the right fit, has been crucial,” he said. By incentivizing his team with ownership stakes, Molnar ensures alignment and shared commitment to POPIC’s goals.
For aspiring professionals, Molnar’s advice is clear: “Opportunities exist if you work hard and stay open to them. It’s about executing on those opportunities rather than waiting for a calling.”
