Drones play vital part in assessment of Hurricane Matthew damage
Travelers is using drones in its property damage inspections in South Carolina, Georgia and other areas affected by Hurricane Matthew.
“Our use of drones will help customers recover from losses more quickly because it expedites inspections, payments and repairs,” explained Patrick Gee, Senior Vice President of Claim at Travelers.
The unmanned aircraft are used by claims professionals who have been trained to meet FAA regulations on their use. Gee says that their use also contributes to health and safety for employees.
“The drones also help protect our claim professionals by eliminating the need to climb ladders to inspect roofs and other elevated structures,” he said.

That puts women in finance ahead of those working in airlines, healthcare, business, sports, arts, nightlife, legal and communication.
