Missouri-based Jenks/Long Insurance has become the most recent agency to join Valley Insurance Alliance (VIAA), a family of more than 100 independent insurance agencies in Missouri and Illinois.
Jenks/Long, founded in 1934, is a full-service insurance agency that specializes in a variety of comprehensive insurance and liability programs. The company, located on Rolla, Mo., is owned by Cansada Hines.

“The alliance gives our agency the opportunity to better serve our loyal clients by exposing us to a larger and more diverse market,” Hines said. “We not only will retain our current business, but we will also offer a bigger selection of products for new and existing clientele.”
VIAA, founded in 2006, generates more than $150 million in written premium and is the regional founding member for the Strategic Insurance Agency Alliance (SIAA), a $6 billion national alliance.
