AGCS), a specialist corporate insurer of the
Allianz Group, announced Wednesday that it has recently rolled out Transportation Block 2020—a comprehensive inland marine cargo insurance product that comes complete with risk management services.
The product features new cover for a wide range of various transportation exposures, such as those recently identified by the FDA’s Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA).
“As the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, The Federal Highway Administration and the FSMA implement sweeping changes across the trucking and rail industries, AGCS has responded with solutions engineered by industry veterans who understand the evolving challenges facing transportation and logistics companies,” said AGCS Transportation Practice Leader, Americas Sam Rizzitelli.
“Our new product comes to market at the right time and we’re excited to offer our clients much-needed protections within a single form at a reasonable cost.”
By being part of Transportation Block 2020, AGCS’ clients will have access to risk management support services offered by professionals and legal consultants that focus on transportation cargo risks. AGCS’ partnerships with global security firm AFIMAC and security services company Freightwatch will also greatly benefit clients.
