Lockton taps industry veteran for executive role in South Florida

Lockton has appointed Matt DiGregorio as senior vice president of its South Florida operation. In his new role, DiGregorio will advise clients in private equity, real estate and other industries on employee benefits programs. He will also take responsibility for new business development.

“Matt is respected for his focus on serving clients and adding value as a consultant,” said Doug Hutcherson, CEO of Lockton’s Southeast US operation. “Clients will appreciate his insight and guidance as we continue to grow our employee benefits business.”

DiGregorio is a graduate of the risk management and insurance program at Temple University. He has 15 years of experience consulting clients. Prior to taking on his role at Lockton, he was a principle at Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Mercer Health & Benefits. In addition, DiGregorio is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management and the Human Resources Association of Palm Beach County. He is a co-founder and board member of the South Florida Business Forum and also serves as a principle at Tri-County Next Generation, which he founded.

DiGregorio will be based in Lockton’s South Florida office in Miramar.
