Lockton has appointed industry veteran Chris Panettiere as its new senior vice president of employee benefits.
In his new role, Panettiere will work with a national group of experts to design administration, compensation and financial security programs for businesses.
“When I work with businesses, I make sure to truly understand their goals and challenges,” Panettiere said. “From there, we work together to structure a program that protects their most valuable asset – their employees. After more than two decades of consulting, I have learned how to provide clarity in an otherwise complex territory.”
Prior to joining Lockton, Panettiere served as the head of the Georgia health and benefits practice for Willis Tower Watson. In that role, he was responsible for strategy development and execution, profits and losses, sales, retention, recruiting, mentoring and growing the employee benefits operation in the Atlanta and Savannah offices.
“Chris has proven himself to be a trusted advisor in the employee benefits space – not just because of his book of business, but because of his leadership,” said Manoj Sharma, COO for Lockton’s Southeast operations.
Panettiere will be based out of Lockton’s Atlanta office.
