Lockton has announced the appointment of Ritu Sakuja as senior vice president of product management.
Sakuja will lead efforts to enhance the development and delivery of digital products for Lockton’s People Solutions business. Prior to joining Lockton, she served as a product leader at Amazon and held roles at Mercer Human Resources Consulting and Humana.
Sakuja brings over 20 years of experience in product strategy and management, with expertise in technical product innovation and digital consulting in the fields of technology, human resources and healthcare.
“We are so excited to be able to attract someone of Ritu’s expertise to Lockton,” said Amit Mantrow, chief data and analytics officer at Lockton. “She will be instrumental in ensuring our People Solutions clients have access to the most innovative tools that improve access to insights and decision-making while providing a great digital experience.”
Commenting on her new role, Sakuja expressed her excitement to joining the company.
“Lockton has a long history of continuous innovation, and the need for new thinking has never been higher with healthcare costs continuing at such high rates,” she added.
Sakuja holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in computer science from Kurukshetra University.

The move comes after the company appointed Daniel Moruzzi and Matthew Cope as senior brokers in its international property and casualty division in London.
Last year, the company also unveiled a new business segment focused on programs and managing general agents in the US. That segment, called Lockton Re Portfolio Solutions, is led by Jeff Fleming.
Lockton is a privately held insurance brokerage firm that has more than 12,500 associates doing business in more than 140 countries. It offers its services in various areas, including risk and insurance.
