Lloyd’s of London will soon assemble the third cohort of its six-month development program designed to support future female leaders in the Lloyd’s market and Corporation. Nominations are now open until October 07.
Called “Advance,” the modular-based scheme aims to raise the number of senior female leaders in the insurance industry by providing women – who are identified by their managers as future female leaders – the opportunity for targeted development as well as access to mentors and role models.
The cohort will feature 10 to 11 female executives from across the market plus four to five from the Lloyd’s Corporation. Details of the nomination process are available on the Lloyd’s website.
“Lloyd’s is committed to closing the gender pay gap by working with its stakeholders to increase the number of women taking up senior roles across the market and the Corporation,” noted the insurance marketplace. “The outcome is an insurance industry that has a better gender balance across all levels.”
The Advance program will bring together the 15 promising women in January 2020.
