Liberty Mutual Insurance has appointed Tracy Ryan as president of Global Risk Solutions (GRS) in North America.
Ryan has been serving Liberty Mutual for 25 years, having held several leadership positions throughout her career, most recently as executive vice-president and chief claims officer for GRS. Before that, she also held leadership roles in actuarial, product, and client management in the United States and Europe.
“Tracy is a proven leader who delivers strong results with a customer-centric focus,” said Liberty Mutual Insurance executive vice-president & GRS president Dennis Langwell.
Langwell also said that by aligning the P&C and specialty businesses Liberty Mutual offers in North America, the company can ensure a more collaborative business model – one that is focused on delivering Liberty Mutual’s full product suite while interacting with broker partners as a single organization.
GRS is Liberty Mutual’s global commercial and specialty lines re/insurer.
Last month, Liberty Mutual created a new role within GRS – construction executive, distribution; Ben Beauvais was named in the position.
