Kaplansky Insurance has announced the acquisition of Burton Foster, a well-established insurance agency based in Wellesley, Mass. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
This acquisition marks a significant milestone for Kaplansky Insurance, as it represents its 42nd successful acquisition to date.
Burton Foster was founded in 1994. By joining forces with Kaplansky Insurance, Burton Foster clients will now have access to an expanded range of insurance products and services, backed by the extensive expertise and resources of a larger agency, the companies said in a news release.
The acquisition of Burton Foster aligns with Kaplansky Insurance's growth strategy and commitment to expansion. Through this strategic move, Kaplansky Insurance aims to expand its service offerings and broaden its market presence.
In February, Kaplansky acquired Newton, Mass.-based Bridge Insurance Associates. Other Massachusetts acquisitions include Dorchester-based Judith M. Flynn Agency and Seekonk-based Russ Towers Agency.
