Ironshore has appointed a new vice-president, regional executive of the Mid-Atlantic region.
David D. Russo has been tapped to serve as the new vice-president, assuming the position from Kevin Fee, who was recently appointed chief operating officer of Ironshore Environmental.

He was previously with AIG, where he spent more than eight years in a number of leadership positions in the Philadelphia office. He was most recently the vice-president of Major Accounts Practice at AIG. Russo had also served as regional underwriting manager and senior underwriter for AIG.
In addition, he has worked for the companies New Day Underwriting Managers, Commerce Insurance Services and Benfield Blanch. Russo was also a production underwriting manager with Venture Insurance Programs.
