She succeeds David Furby (pictured above, center), who has been named executive chairman of EMEA. In this role, Furby will oversee strategy and governance for Chubb’s general insurance business in the region and will continue to serve on Chubb’s European Group board and chair its underwriting risk committee.
Meanwhile, Robic’s previous role will be filled by Melissa Scheffler (pictured above, right), currently chief operating officer of PRS, who will now serve as president of PRS and vice president of Chubb Group.
MetLife has elected Christian Mumenthaler (pictured immediately above) to its board of directors, effective May 1, 2025.
Mumenthaler served as group CEO of Swiss Re for eight years until June 2024 and was a member of the Group’s executive committee for over a decade. His career at Swiss Re spanned more than 25 years, during which he held leadership roles including group chief risk officer, head of life and health, as well as chief marketing officer for reinsurance.
Jef Morgan has been promoted to senior vice president of InsurTech at Smart Choice. In this role, Morgan will oversee strategic growth, operational excellence, as well as the expansion of carrier partnerships within the InsurTech space.
Morgan, who joined the company in 2011, will now focus on expanding market reach, fostering collaborations with carriers and ensuring Smart Choice agency partners have access to InsurTech companies to drive growth and efficiency.
