Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI), Farmers Insurance, and EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants recently announced leadership changes and structural adjustments to enhance their respective operations.
BHSI is restructuring its US retail general property organization into four regions: Northeast, Southeast, Central, and West. The move aims to strengthen regional expertise and service.
Scott Johnson has been appointed head of US Retail General Property, overseeing all four regions. He will continue to lead underwriting for BH FastCAT parametric insurance. Johnson joined BHSI in 2013 and previously served as senior vice president, Eastern region leader.
The regional leadership includes Alison McVeigh as head of Retail General Property for the Northeast; Jen Rubin for the Central Region; Cristin Grogan for the Southeast Region, and Manny Dewani for the West Region.
Brian Cummins, formerly in the Central Region role, will transition to customer and broker engagement leader for the US Northern Central region.
Ankur Chaturvedi (pictured) has been appointed as regional president of the East Territory at Farmers Insurance, effective March 10. He will provide leadership support to agency owners and district managers while focusing on strategic initiatives. Chaturvedi will report to Ken Walton, president of distribution and chief revenue officer.
Before joining Farmers, Chaturvedi held leadership roles at Ouro (formerly NetSpend) and AAA Life Insurance and began his career at Allstate.
EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants introduced its Construction & Infrastructure Group (C&I Group) to serve general contractors, specialty contractors, architects, engineers, developers and other industry stakeholders.
Brian Tanner has been named president of the C&I Group, overseeing client service and collaboration among regional teams. Hugh Coyle will serve as National Projects Solutions Practice leader, while Dan Edgett will be director of carrier partnerships.
The C&I Group was created to deliver specialized risk management solutions for construction and infrastructure clients.
