A Mississippi insurance agent was arrested on wire-fraud charges Wednesday.

Mississippi Attorney General Jim Hood announced the arrest of Kassandra Michelle Floyd, 36, according to a report by local news station WDAM. Floyd is accused of producing and transmitting phony insurance cards. She turned herself in to the Rankin County, Miss., Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, Hood said.

Authorities say that Floyd made counterfeit copies of Safeway Insurance Company insurance cards and sent them to others for use as proof of insurance in court, according to WDAM. If convicted, Floyd could be sentenced to up to 10 years in prison and fined up to $20,000.

Hood’s bond was set at $15,000, according to local CBS station WJTV.
