Incline P&C Group has appointed Sheel Patel as chief risk and strategy officer and Lauren Wiedenfeld as finance chief.
Both executives bring decades of experience in financial management, strategy and leadership, which the company said would position it for continued growth and success.
Patel most recently served as CFO. In that role, she supported the company’s strategic financial operations.
Prior to working at Incline, Patel served as CFO for Houston Endowment, a $1.8 billion private foundation; Covarian Capital Management, a $2.3 billion investment management startup; and Simmons & Company, an energy-focused investment bank. She also spent more than 10 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers in various regions, where she provided assurance and capital market services to various companies.
In her new role, she will work closely with chief executive Chris McClellan to focus on the company’s strategic and risk management goals to support its growing program services platform. McClellan himself has more than 25 years of experience in the property and casualty insurance business. He has also held various roles in another insurance company, serving as its chief operating officer, general counsel and director.
Wiedenfeld, who will assume Patel’s previous role in the company, has more than 20 years of experience in accounting, operations and financial leadership. She most recently served as the company’s vice president of finance and accounting operations.
Before joining Incline, she was a CFO consultant for a non-standard auto insurance carrier, where she supervised finance and accounting functions. She also held leadership roles at Argo Group International, including head of accounting shared services and US controller.
Incline is a property and casualty insurance program market services company based in Texas.
Other members of the company’s management include: George Gorney, who is COO; Tony Urban, chief underwriting officer – personal lines and chief development officer; Scott Galiardo, chief underwriting officer – commercial and specialty lines and chief actuary; Allen Halbrook, chief legal officer, and Stephen Radomski, chief technology officer.
