Broking giant Hub International Limited has announced the acquisition of independent insurance agency Shinstrom & Norman. The terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Shinstrom & Norman, based in Kirkland, Washington, has been delivering personalized personal and commercial insurance services since its establishment in 1911. The agency has built a strong reputation for its expertise and local presence in the insurance industry.
Under this acquisition, Mark Shinstrom, president, Scott Shinstrom, vice president, Steve Shinstrom, treasurer, Mikal Norman, managing partner, and the entire Shinstrom & Norman team will join Hub Northwest. They will continue to operate from their current agency location in Kirkland, Hub said in a news release.
To reflect the new partnership, Shinstrom & Norman will now be known as Shinstrom & Norman, a Hub International company. This acquisition is expected to enhance Hub's presence in the insurance market and further strengthen its capabilities in serving clients with comprehensive insurance solutions.
Shinstrom & Norman is the latest in a string of acquisitions for the global broker. Earlier this week, Hub announced that it had acquired Massachusetts-based Horizon Insurance. Last month, Hub announced its acquisition of the assets of Edbrooke/Stelcner and Associates, a Florida-based employee benefits brokerage and consulting firm. Hub also acquired South Carolina-based Golden Corner Wealth Advisors.
