Based in New Orleans, Louisiana, Swanson Insurance Agency is a locally owned, independent insurance agency serving the New Orleans community and its surrounding areas. The company was founded in 1985, according to its website. Post-merger, the insurance agency’s team will become part of Hub Gulf South.
The move, according to Hub International, is part of its expansion and the new acquisition will further strengthen its personal and commercial insurance capabilities.

Meanwhile, Donna Swanson the owner of Swanson Insurance Agency, expressed her excitement about the merger.
“We are thrilled to become part of Hub,” she said. “We look forward to collaborating with our new colleagues and leveraging the firm's resources and deep industry knowledge to deliver exceptional results for our clients.”
Swanson Insurance Agency, according to its website, has been offering affordable and competitive solutions available for the care of their homes, businesses, automobiles, families, and other necessities, since its founding 39 years ago. The agency is also a member of the PIA, BBB, and Chamber of Commerce and partners with several insurance companies to guarantee the best options for our clients. It is also part of the “10,000 Small Businesses” Initiative founded by the Goldman Sachs Foundation.
After the merger, Swanson Insurance will be known as Swanson Insurance Agency, a Hub International company, as part of its branding. Agency Brokerage Consultants served as financial advisors to Swanson Insurance Agency for the transaction.
