Hub International has hired Stephen Cali to join its employee benefits division, to serve as senior vice-president/senior benefits consultant.
Cali has more than two decades of health insurance experience, and is an expert in the self-funded space. He was most recently serving as the director of sales for GILSBAR, a company he has been working for since 2006. In that role, he oversaw all business development efforts across the US for the company’s benefit management segments. He was primarily focused on third party administration (TPA) services.
He first began his career selling consulting and benefits services directly to retail clients with Marsh & McLennan in 1993. A release from Hub noted that Cali’s appointment marks his return to direct retail sales, and that his resume perfectly suits Hub’s needs as it continues to grow its significant market share in the benefits sector.
