Hub International Limited has acquired the assets of Dansig Inc., which operates as Dansig Insurance Risk Advisors.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Based in Decatur, Illinois, Dansig is an independent insurance risk adviser specializing in employee benefits services as well as commercial and personal insurance. The firm focuses on helping clients manage insurance costs, reduce risk, and enhance employee engagement.
Lerone Sidberry, president and COE of Hub Midwest West, emphasized the strategic fit of the acquisition, stating: “With deep expertise across all facets of the insurance industry, Dansig's experience and skillsets perfectly complement and strengthen Hub's capabilities in the region. We’re excited to welcome the Dansig team to Hub.”
As part of the transition, Daniel Reynolds, president and CEO of Dansig, as well as the rest of the Dansig team will join Hub Midwest West.

Following the acquisition, Dansig will continue to operate under the name Dansig Insurance Risk Advisors, a Hub International company. Reagan Consulting served as the financial adviser for Dansig during the transaction.
In addition to the acquisition, Hub also announced the appointment of Mary Keiser as the national food & beverage practice leader. Keiser will oversee strategic initiatives to deliver specialized solutions and services to food and beverage clients across North America.
“Mary is a dynamic insurance leader with nearly two decades of expertise in risk management and client advisory services,” said Joshua Smart, Hub agribusiness practice leader and chief sales officer. “She will play a pivotal role in shaping food & beverage client deliverables and strengthening key carrier partnerships.”
Keiser joins Hub after serving as senior vice president and food & beverage practice leader at another large insurance broker, where she led a team that provided market insights and risk solutions for clients in the food, beverage, and cannabis sectors.
