Hub International Limited, a global insurance brokerage and financial services firm, has acquired the assets of Lindenwood Agency Inc.
The financial terms of the transaction were not made public.
Lindenwood Agency is a well-established independent insurance agency based in St. Charles, Missouri. It has been in operation for more than 50 years, providing a range of commercial and personal insurance services to businesses and individuals. The agency has developed a strong presence in the local communities of Missouri and Illinois, offering tailored insurance solutions to meet the needs of its clients.
“Our team is excited to welcome the Lindenwood Agency to our Hub family,” said Paul Cohen, president of Hub Kansas and Missouri. “Their team represents another key partner in our St. Louis growth strategy.”
The acquisition is seen as a strategic move to expand Hub’s presence in the region and enhance its offerings to clients in Missouri and Illinois. The addition of Lindenwood Agency further strengthens Hub’s position in the competitive insurance marketplace.
As part of the transaction, Melodie Smith, president of Lindenwood Agency, along with Ryan Mica, vice president and the rest of the Lindenwood Agency team, will join Hub Kansas and Missouri. This will allow for a smooth integration of the two companies while continuing to serve the needs of existing clients.
Following the acquisition, Lindenwood Agency will continue to operate under its existing name but will now be recognized as Lindenwood Agency, a Hub International company.
The acquisition of Lindenwood Agency marks another step in Hub International’s ongoing expansion strategy, particularly in the Midwest region, and underscores the company’s commitment to broadening its reach and capabilities in the insurance sector.
Headquartered in Chicago, Hub International provides services in risk management, insurance, employee benefits, retirement planning and wealth management. It operates with more than 18,000 employees across North America.
Last month, the company acquired New Mexico-based Woods Insurance Services for an undisclosed sum.
