The Hilb Group has announced the appointment of Ryan Hartzler (pictured above) as Midwest platform leader. The appointment is part of the company’s commitment to a strong regional leadership structure to support its ongoing expansion.
In his new role, Hartzler will be responsible for the growth and development of Hilb Group agencies in Indiana, Michigan, and additional Midwest states as the company expands its footprint in the region. He will report to Jason Angus, chief operating officer of the Hilb Group.
Hartzler joined the Hilb Group in 2016 as part of its acquisition of Patriot Insurance. He is a 2021 graduate of the Hilb Group’s Brad Post Leadership Institute with the College of William & Mary. Hartzler has more than two decades of industry experience, with a background in sales and underwriting including positions specializing in life, auto and commercial lines.
