Arthur J. Gallagher has expanded its footprint in the southern US with its acquisition of Louisiana-based brokerage firm The Chapman Group, Inc.
Based in Baton Rouge, The Chapman Group is an employee benefit consultancy and retail property/casualty broker offering coverage and services to clients throughout the state of Louisiana. According to the firm, its approach to business is to build long-term client relationships based on trust, transparency and delivering customer value.
The Chapman Group President Bill Chapman, Vice President Will Chapman, and their associates will continue to operate from their current location under the direction of Robby White, head of Gallagher’s South Central region employee benefits consulting and brokerage operations, and Bumpy Triche, head of Gallagher’s Mid-South region retail property/casualty brokerage operations.
