Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has announced the acquisition of California-based Tyler Insurance Agency. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1921, Tyler Insurance Agency provides property-casualty and risk management services to businesses and families in southern and central California. The agency focuses on serving agribusinesses, public entities, electric utilities, schools and construction firms. Allen Tyler, David Tyler and their associates will continue to operate from the company’s current location in El Centro, Calif. They will report to Scott Firestone, head of Gallagher’s Southwest region retail property-casualty brokerage operations.
