Equisoft, a provider of digital business solutions for the insurance industry, has appointed Brian Simpson as vice president of insurance solutions, USA.
Simpson, who has more than 30 years of experience in the life, health and annuity sectors, will join the company’s sales team for insurance solutions in the US. He has previously held executive roles with major organizations and has led more than 48 major insurance initiatives, including nine policy administration systems projects, 15 statutory company mergers and 24 operational transformation efforts.
Simpson said he is excited to join the company and is looking forward to collaborating with clients. “Equisoft’s cutting-edge solutions are redefining how insurers approach digital transformation,” he said.
Simpson is expected to leverage his expertise to develop modernization initiatives with the company’s current product offerings.

Founded in 1994, Equisoft is a global provider of advanced insurance and investment digital offerings. Its flagship solutions include SaaS policy administration, CRM, financial needs analysis and financial planning, among others.
Equisoft previously announced that it has successfully completed 30 modernization projects in the past 18 months, 11 of which included large data migrations.
It also said it has been selected by Canadian online life insurance provider Emma to support the growth and improvement of its digital platform.
Under that deal, Emma will leverage Equisoft’s digital solutions to efficiently support agents and manage its distribution channels.
National Guardian Life Insurance Company (NGL) has also selected the company’s SaaS policy administration system offering for the digital modernization efforts of its Preneed life insurance business.
The companies plan to work together to improve NGL’s digital infrastructure by implementing a modern policy administration system, make data migration and integration seamless, and deploy digital solutions such as App Capture and self-serve portal.
