EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants has announced that industry veteran Lou D’Agostino and his Iron Cove Partners team have joined the company. D’Agostino has more than 17 years of insurance brokerage experience, and is an expert in serving the financial services industry.
D’Agostino and his team will be based in EPIC’s midtown Manhattan office, reporting to Thomas O’Neil, Northeast Region president. They will operate as Iron Cove – a division of EPIC.
Prior to founding Iron Cove, D’Agostino worked for broker Frank Crystal & Co., where he served as a director in the financial services practice. In that role, he designed and placed management and professional liability insurance programs for financial services firms.
At Iron Cove, D’Agostino created an industry-leading financial services practice. The company’s strong reputation in the hedge fund sector earned it the 2017 and 2018 “Best US & Global Hedge Fund Industry Insurance Provider” awards from Hedgeweek.
Prior to entering the risk management and insurance industry, D’Agostino was a professional football player, whose time in the sport included playing with the New York Jets.
