DUAL GROUP, the global specialist underwriting agency, has launched a rebrand this week. According to a media release shared with Insurance Business, the firm “aims to enhance the experience for all of its partners and clients and simplify access to expanding capabilities across a broad range of products and services.”

The release said this move has unified the brand with “one seamless global website to give easier access to the breadth of our products and services.”

The company is one of Lloyd’s’ larger international coverholders with operations across the Americas, Europe and the Asia Pacific. GWP is estimated at US$3.5 billion.

“Our ambition is to be the world’s best underwriting business and this vibrant new brand truly reflects the innovative forward-thinking approach,” said Richard Clapham (main picture, right side), CEO of DUAL Group.

Founded in 1998 in Madrid

Damien Coates (main picture, left side), CEO of DUAL ANZ, said this is about more than replacing the firm’s logo. DUAL was originally founded in Madrid in 1998.

“It's about ensuring every part of DUAL reflects our journey and vision,” said Coates to IB. “It’s been a true team effort across the globe, bringing our people together to streamline the way we work and create a more consistent brand.”

He said the rebrand was designed in consultation with brokers “and ensuring we’re having deeper connections with our broking partners.”

The release said DUAL has 1,800 employees across 21 countries who work with 11,000 broker partners.
