DUAL North America has appointed Andreas Graham as executive vice president of the Energy, Industrial & Utility Risk Solutions (EIURS) team, and Ed Frey as senior vice president of Professional Liability, as part of the organization's move to enhance its casualty and liability divisions.

Graham will oversee the EIURS division, which specializes in energy casualty, ocean marine, and inland marine underwriting.

He brings over two decades of experience, including his most recent role at Everest Insurance as head of Excess Casualty National Accounts, managing portfolios across sectors such as energy and construction. In his tenure, he contributed to expanding Everest’s energy casualty book and guiding its strategic direction.

According to Graham, his professional background aligns with DUAL’s focus on specialized solutions.

"I look forward to collaborating with the entire team to build on the strong foundation already in place and drive even greater success in the marine and energy markets. I am thrilled to join DUAL North America and lead the EIURS team during such an exciting time of growth and opportunity,” said Graham.

Meanwhile, Frey will lead DUAL's initiatives to grow its professional liability portfolio and identify new opportunities. He has over 20 years of experience in professional liability underwriting and broking. Previously, he served as director of underwriting at Navigators, managing programs for architects and engineers, technology, and environmental risks, among others.

"I'm excited to be joining DUAL North America at such an important juncture for the professional liability division. With an experienced team and a dynamic market, I look forward to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, creating new opportunities for growth, and delivering solutions that truly make a difference for our clients," said Frey.

Both Graham and Frey will report to Connie Germano, chief casualty officer at DUAL North America.

Germano said the appointments of Graham and Frey represent an opportunity to strengthen DUAL’s offerings, meeting the evolving needs of the market.

“Their deep industry expertise and proven leadership will strengthen our ability to deliver more value to our customers, ensuring we continue to meet the evolving needs of the market with innovative solutions," said Germano.

Additionally, Larry Baldino, president of Cyber, who previously supported the professional liability division, will now focus entirely on DUAL’s cyber business.
