Distinguished Programs has announced the appointment of Mike Schleich (pictured) as regional sales executive covering the company’s north central territory, which includes Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Kentucky, as well as the city of Chicago. Schleich has more than 25 years of industry experience.
“Mike’s extensive background as a leader in strategic business development and ability to develop long-lasting broker relationships in the region he now covers for Distinguished make him an asset to our organization,” said Kurt Meister, senior vice president of business development for Distinguished Programs. “As we continue to expand our sales force, we’re excited to have someone of his caliber join our team.”
Prior to joining Distinguished Programs, Schleich served as business development director at AIG. He has also served as national distribution manager at McGowan. Earlier in his career, Schleich held the position of vice president of business development at AIG. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Kenyon College and a master’s degree from Cleveland State University.
