CSAA Insurance Group has appointed Julie Brown (pictured) to the role of executive vice president of commercial insurance.
Brown will be responsible for the distribution of commercial insurance under the Mobilitas brand, launched by CSAA in 2020 to provide commercial insurance solutions for the sharing economy and mobility sector.
Brown has over 32 years of experience in the insurance industry, particularly in the commercial side. She also has expertise in various aspects of the insurance business, including underwriting, operations, product management and distribution.
Brown joins CSAA from IAT Insurance Group, where she most recently served as senior vice president of distribution strategy. She had also held diverse leadership roles at Safeco Insurance and Liberty Mutual Insurance. Brown has a bachelor of science degree in managerial economics from the University of California, Davis.
