Crum & Forster Pet Insurance Group has added a new service to guide customers with their pet insurance needs even after office hours.
The insurer’s new emergency hotline for claims estimates is available during and after normal business hours. Customers can now find out if their pet’s treatment will be covered and receive an estimate on how much the insurance payout would be regardless of the time.
A release said that the new service is available for Crum & Forster’s ASPCA Pet Health Insurance and Hartville Pet Insurance brands. Customers can access the service by calling the regular customer service number.
“As a pet parent myself, I know the stress that can be caused when your four-legged friend needs to be rushed to an emergency visit because they’ve swallowed a sock or injured a limb,” said Crum & Forster Pet Insurance vice-president Liz Watson. “Our goal is to provide a convenient way for customers in this situation to access important insurance information and get the answers they need regarding coverage.”
