Hanleigh, a subsidiary of nationwide wholesale insurance distributor CRC Group, has announced the appointment of Bill Haley as sales director. Hanleigh is a managing general underwriter offering high-limit disability, personal life and accident, and special risk contingency coverage to high-net-worth professionals, athletes, entertainers and organizations.
Haley (pictured above) will be based in Dana Point, Calif. He joins the company with more than 35 years of experience in income protection services for professionals and executives, with a focus on guarantee standard issue, integrated plan designs, risk transfer, and other disability income risk management strategies. Prior to joining Hanleigh, Haley served as regional director for the West and Pacific Northwest regions at Guardian Life Insurance. He has also held positions at Unum and Mass Mutual.
“Bill is known for his deep industry knowledge and has a reputation for partnering with and providing solutions to brokers for some of the country’s largest law and medical firms, household-name high-tech companies, as well as medium-size to closely held successful businesses,” said Chris Peterson, president of Hanleigh. “We are excited to have him join the Hanleigh sales team.”
