Wholesale specialty insurance distributor CRC Group continues to enhance its capacity to support retail agency clients across the country by adding another set of new hires.
Sean Kenny (pictured above) joined the company in Houston, Texas, taking on the role of senior vice president and broker. With over 30 years of industry experience, Kenny was most recently a vice president at a North American insurance brokerage.
Travis McCleary (pictured top right), meanwhile, was appointed as an underwriting team leader in the Seattle, Washington office. Before joining CRC, McCleary was a fleet underwriter at a commercial trucking insurance company, bringing valuable expertise to his new role.
The appointments come on the heels of executive leadership changes within the firm’s commercial solutions operations. Brent Tredway was named the sole president of the brokerage division in July. Brennan Paris, who was chief operating officer of CRC’s binding division, assumed the role of binding division president.
Additionally, Chris Carlson expanded his responsibilities to include the role of chief operating officer of the commercial solutions division, in addition to his position as national property practice leader.
CRC also recently announced the arrival of underwriting team leaders Joyce Carlton and Craig Anderson in the Tampa-Bayport office.
Other previous hires include Joseph Carothers, Craig Brown, and Michael Rockhill in Tampa-Bayport, as well as Sarah McKenna in San Francisco, Greg DiPrato in New York, and Brad Rickey in Indianapolis.
Earlier this year, INSUREtrust was integrated into CRC’s wholesale brokerage division to form a cyber practice unit led by INSUREtrust president and chief executive Christiaan Durdaller.
Based in Atlanta, INSUREtrust is a specialty insurance business known for its unique policy form that was designed to explicitly cover exposures associated with the internet’s emerging digital risks. Prior to merging with the wholesale brokerage division, INSUREtrust was part of CRC Group subsidiary Starwind Specialty Insurance Services.
