Concord Specialty Risk has welcomed Ayanna Lewis-Gruss, Esq. as its newest vice president & underwriting counsel for its litigation insurance business.

As VP and underwriting counsel, Lewis-Gruss will be based in New York, NY.

Lewis-Gruss over 18 years of experience in all aspects of litigation and arbitration, which includes managing and mentoring other attorneys. She is a courtroom litigator that has tried complex cases, and she joins Concord from Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP. Lewis-Gruss also previously served as an intern for Senator Edward M. Kennedy.

“Ayanna has the requisite knowledge of trial and appellate practice, people skills, and passion to lead Concord’s litigation insurance practice,” said Concord Specialty Risk CEO David S. De Berry, Esq. “We are excited to have the experience, skill set, character, and gravitas that Ms. Lewis-Gruss brings with her.”
