The Collision Industry Electronic Commerce Association (CIECA) has announced an expansion of its board of trustees due to the continued growth of its membership. The board will now include representatives from five additional companies, effective immediately.

The new board members are: Creighton Warren, chief information officer at Boyd Group; Andre Shervanian, chief executive officer at Claim Leader LLC; Mark Miller, chief information officer at Crash Champions; Pete Tagliapietra, managing director at DataTouch LLC, and Mark Santefort, vice president of operations at Snapsheet.

Overview of new board members

Creighton Warren, who has been CIO at Boyd Group since June 2023, is responsible for overseeing IT across all business units and locations. Prior to joining Boyd Group, Warren served as CIO at TreeHouse Foods and USG Corporation. Andre Shervanian, CEO of Claim Leader LLC, brings over a decade of experience in the insuretech industry. Claim Leader offers a cloud-based platform that automates and streamlines the claims lifecycle for insurers, third-party administrators, and repair networks.

Mark Miller, CIO at Crash Champions, joined the company in 2022 and has over 30 years of experience in digital technology. Before his role at Crash Champions, Miller served as CTO at a national collision repair organization and Party City. Meanwhile, Pete Tagliapietra, managing director at DataTouch LLC, is a former CIECA board member with extensive experience in collision repair and automotive aftermarket IT. Tagliapietra founded NuGen IT, which was acquired by OEConnection in 2020, and later launched DataTouch, a company specializing in data privacy, security, and repair planning technology. Finally, Mark Santefort, vice president of operations at Snapsheet, has more than 20 years of experience in the auto insurance industry.

Continued growth and industry development

The expansion of CIECA’s Board of Trustees comes as the organization continues to grow and develop standards aimed at improving interoperability and efficiency across the collision repair industry.

The new members bring a diverse set of skills from the technology, claims management, and collision repair sectors, helping to guide the association’s ongoing efforts to shape the future of the industry.
