Cattle Raisers Insurance is working with Higginbotham provide insurance solutions to ranchers, landowners and businesses across the state of Texas.
Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed.
The two companies are working together to provide Texas customers with comprehensive and affordable insurance solutions for coverage associated with land use, animal mortality, liability claims, vehicle liability and other ranch-related liabilities.
The partnership is also expected to allow customers to have more access to resources, industry expertise and opportunities that will allow them to grow and become more profitable.
“Cattle Raisers Insurance was created to ensure ranchers and landowners have access to great coverage, now we can better deliver that alongside one of the largest independent insurance firms in the country,” said Carl Ray Polk Jr., president of Texas & Southern Cattle Raisers Association, the parent company of Cattle Raisers Insurance.
“Higginbotham has a great team that understands the needs of ranchers and landowners and we are thrilled to work together in this new partnership,” he added.
Meanwhile, Mary Russell, president of Higginbotham’s private clients services, said that the collaboration will offer “vital” insurance services to customers.
“With deep roots in Texas, Higginbotham and TSCRA share a commitment to bring solutions, resources and advocacy to Texas ranchers,” Russell added.
Cattle Raisers Insurance is a full-service insurance brokerage that offers its services to businesses and individuals in Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico.
Higginbotham, on the other hand, is a single-source solutions provider for insurance, risk management, financial and HR/employee benefits services. It specializes in tailoring programs necessary to meet client’s needs.
Last year, Higginbotham entered into several partnerships to expand its footprint and improve its services.
In August, the company partnered with Cassidy & Company, a Florida-based specialty life insurance planning firm in an effort to enhance its specialty life insurance expertise and provide additional support to its partner offices in Florida, Tennessee, Mississippi and other regions.
The company also partnered with Turner & Associates Insurance, a Georgia-based insurer with accounts and specialty practices for nonprofits, construction and hospitality. Higginbotham said then that the partnership is a reflection of its commitment to solidify its presence in the state as well as the Southeast region.
