CAC Specialty has appointed André S. Eichenholtz to lead its portfolio solutions group.
Eichenholtz brings with him more than 30 years of brokerage experience, having built two private equity M&A practices prior to joining the ranks of CAC Specialty. He was previously the head of M&A diligence and placement at JLT Specialty. Before that, he helped establish a boutique insurance brokerage that specialized in private equity M&A transactions.
A release said that under Eichenholtz’s leadership, the portfolio solutions team will work to offer diligence and portfolio efficiencies to CAC’s sponsor clients. The team will cooperate with CAC’s financial sponsor practice and the private capital finance & structured risk solutions teams to serve the company’s M&A clients.
“The addition of yet another industry veteran speaks to the timeliness of CAC Specialty’s creation,” commented CAC president Bruce Denson Jr., who added that the time is ripe for a new insurance brokerage platform to refocus on client service and innovation.
“I am thrilled to be a part of the CAC Specialty team as we build a truly unique platform for our clients that was previously unavailable in the marketplace,” said Eichenholtz.
CAC Specialty noted that there will be further team additions announced over the coming weeks.
