Independent insurance distribution firm BRP Group is now known as The Baldwin Group.
Aside from the name change, central to The Baldwin Group’s first phase of rebranding are a newly launched website, www.baldwin.com, and the brand mantra ‘Protecting the Possible’.
Lifting the lid on the identity shift, chief executive Trevor Baldwin said: “I am very excited to announce that BRP is now The Baldwin Group.
“For us, The Baldwin Group is more than just a new name. It is truly indicative of who we are as a firm – a cohesive group of experts in business insurance, employee benefits, retirement planning, and all areas of private and personal insurance.”
In its announcement, The Baldwin Group noted that the company’s retail brokerage operations spanning nearly 40 regional brands will transition in the coming months.
“Our unified brand will enable us to efficiently and seamlessly deliver the broad range of specialized expertise we have built across the firm to meet our client’s personal and business insurance needs,” the CEO pointed out.
The brand transition will be executed in phases, with partner brands under the insurance advisory solutions and mainstreet insurance solutions operating segments transitioning later this summer.
Additionally, as of May 2, BRP Group, Inc. will be renamed The Baldwin Insurance Group, Inc., and Baldwin Risk Partners, LLC will become The Baldwin Insurance Group Holdings, LLC.
The Baldwin Group’s brand integration work is expected to be completed early next year.
