Cemeteries and crematoriums can now rest in peace knowing they can secure adequate coverage through Brownyard Group’s new insurance program.
Brownyard’s ‘Memorialpro’ program will be written through an unnamed carrier with broker Regan Agency also partnering on the program.
Regan Agency has specialized in providing insurance programs for cemeteries and crematories for over 35 years, a release said.
The Memorialpro program offers general liability, professional liability, commercial auto, property, inland marine, as well as crime and fidelity coverage. Two additional policies are available to supplement the coverage: commercial excess and a combined D&O/employment practices liability policy.
“This program has the coverage cemeteries need, providing peace of mind to death care professionals who, in turn, provide peace of mind to families during their most difficult moments,” said Brownyard Group president Tory Brownyard. “With Memorialpro we are expanding into a new industry, but it draws on what we’ve learned through our program for landscape professionals.”
Memorialpro will be initially be available through agents and brokers in New Jersey and Connecticut – it will eventually roll out nationwide later this year.
