Brown & Riding has announced the appointment of JulieAnne Lally as real estate practice leader.
Lally has more than 10 years of industry experience, with a track record of delivering results and client services, primarily in the Southern and Midwest regions. She joined the company in 2021 and was named principal in 2022.
Lally also currently serves on the board of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) Houston chapter, part of the organization’s Southeast division. She is co-chair of sponsorship for the 2024 IICF Southeastern conference.
Jeff Rodriguez, president and chief executive of Brown & Riding, said Lally was a proven expert in the real estate space and had a strong commitment to growing and fostering talent. “These qualities make her a great fit to lead the real estate practice forward,” he added.
“I’m honored to take on this new role,” Lally said. “As the real estate practice grows, my commitment is to empower our team and deliver forward-thinking solutions that meet and exceed our clients’ evolving needs.”
The move follows the company’s appointment of several executives last year to lead certain aspects of its business. The company named Bill Stratico as its national professional liability practice leader. It also appointed Wes Benefield to its national management and professional liability practice as senior vice president and broker.
Rina Visconti, a construction specialist, also joined the company’s New York office last year as a senior vice president and broker.
Brown & Riding was founded in San Francisco and has been trading since 1980. The firm’s practice areas span amusement attractions and action sports, casualty, construction, energy and environmental, entertainment, financial institutions and franchise industry, among others.
