Brokerslink has announced the appointment of Twan Hoste (pictured) to the role of general manager.
In his new role, Hoste will have overall management responsibility of Brokerslink’s senior team and report to the firm’s board. He will be responsible for driving the firm’s growth strategy, focusing on bolstering relationships with the its global network of independent brokers, investing in operating infrastructure, and developing “digital solutions” to support the network’s partners and affiliates.
A veteran of the industry, Hoste comes from a 16-year stint at AIG Europe where he held several senior roles in customer, sales, and broker relationship management working across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.
“Brokerslink epitomizes the pivotal role of the intermediary in not only understanding the needs of the client and the broader economic and business issues impacting them, but also then delivering innovative and relevant risk transfer solutions,” said Hoste. “It has built a strong foundation leveraging the strength of its global network of independent brokers and their deep knowledge and understanding of local markets with market-leading technology, entrepreneurship, strategic insurer partnerships and dedicated products and services.”
For his part, José Manuel Fonseca, chairman of Brokerslink, said that the appointment “marks an important milestone” for the firm.
