Brightway Insurance has been named one of 2018’s top franchises for veterans by Franchise Business Review. This marks the second year in a row that the insurer has made the list.
To compile the list, Franchise Business Review considered companies’ overall franchise satisfaction score, gleaned from independent research, as well as satisfaction among franchisees who were military veterans. While hundreds of brands were considered, only 80 made the list.
Brightway was also one of 100 companies to land a spot on Franchise Business Review’s “Top Innovative Franchises in 2018” list.
“We’re very proud of the franchise model we’ve developed and thrilled our franchisees rate their satisfaction with Brightway as high,” said Michael Miller, Brightway co-founder and chairman. “Being named a top franchise for veterans and innovators based on the feedback our franchisees provided is quite an honor that inspires us to continue to build an even stronger system for them.”
Brightway offers a 10% discount off the franchise fee ($4,500-$6,000) for military veterans, the company said.
“Owning a franchise with Brightway is owning your own business,” said Baton Rouge, La., franchise owner Richard Ingram, a US Army veteran who served four tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. “It’s truly a partnership. There is no man in the tower bellowing orders, expecting his way or the highway. Brightway listens to the franchisees and facilitates change when necessary, derived from owner input.”
“Brightway has proved to be the right franchise at the right time for my family,” said Air Force veteran Eric Seuffert, owner of Brightway, The Seuffert Agency in Cape Coral, Fla. “We could not be happier.”
