Independent specialist reinsurance broker BMS Group has announced the appointment of Pete Chandler as president of US reinsurance operations, effective May 27. Chandler will also join the BMS US board. He will report to Steve Korducki, US reinsurance CEO.
Chandler joins BMS from JLT Re, where he served as deputy CEO of the company’s US broking arm. He has also served as Marsh’s managing director for the Western region, North American COO for Guy Carpenter, and executive vice president at Benfield.
