AXIS Capital has announced the appointment of Kelly Beaudoin as the head of its partnership office, its multi-functional team focused on guiding the organization’s change management initiatives.
Beaudoin’s role involves overseeing the execution of “How We Work,” a program designed to refine the company’s operational approach and market strategies. AXIS intends to enhance agility and speed in the market through this program, better adjusting to shifts and evolving customer needs. Additionally, the program aims to drive efficiencies and capitalize on increased productivity.
According to LinkedIn, her transition to AXIS comes after a notable 20-year tenure with The Hartford, where her most recent role was head of strategy, global specialty. Her career progression at The Hartford included various responsibilities in business intelligence, financial operations, and third-party data, with her professional journey commencing as an underwriter at Hartford Life.
In this newly established position, Beaudoin will collaborate with AXIS president and CEO Vince Tizzio and the leadership team to steer the implementation of organization-wide transformation and change management projects. She will directly report to Tizzio.

Beaudoin’s addition is just the latest in a string of appointments for the specialty underwriter. Recently, AXIS Capital also named Edmond Wu as its new head of distribution for specialty markets in North America.
