AssuredPartners Inc. announced Jan. 19 that it has acquired Roehrs & Company Inc., a Pennsylvania-based independent agency.
The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Roehrs & Company was founded in 1923. The agency primarily deals with commercial property/casualty, employee benefits, and personal insurance products. Notably, the agency provides its expertise in the wood products industry.
Fittingly for an agency with experience working with the wood products industry, Roehrs & Company is endorsed by USRowing—the governing body for rowing as a sport in America. Roehrs & Company offers specialized products to members of the body.
Roehrs & Company CEO Gil Roehrs expressed his fervor for the deal.

Roehrs’ team of 12 will maintain operations in its main Exton and Greenville, South Carolina offices.
