The Arbella Insurance Group has appointed Paul Brady to the position of chief information officer and senior vice-president of information technology. He will lead the group’s 140-strong information technology department.
Brady joined Arbella in 2010, and was promoted to an officer in 2012. He was later recognized as CIO of the Year by the Boston Business Journal in 2015. In 2017, his responsibility was expanded to include administration of the facilities and real estate management departments.
Prior to joining Arbella, Brady served more than 10 years at Liberty Mutual in a number of technology and management roles. His 18 years of property and casualty industry experience include legacy core systems replacements, agent and consumer web portals to data and analytics, enterprise architecture and business/technology strategy and execution.
“In today’s ever-evolving world, Paul has helped Arbella keep pace with emerging technology and to bring our customers new digital experiences,” said Arbella Insurance Group chairman, president, and CEO John Donohue.
Donohue added that in addition to his role in the IT space, Brady has provided “exceptional leadership” for Arbella employees by building teams with an emphasis on talent development and promoting from within.
Brady earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and a Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems at Bentley University.
