Aon plc announced several leadership transitions, including the departure of Eric Andersen from his role as president.

Andersen will now serve as a senior adviser to Chief Executive Officer Greg Case, who will also assume the role of president. The transition period will continue until June 2026, the company said in a statement.

According to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, Andersen ceased serving as Aon’s president on March 14. He joined the company in 1997 through Aon’s acquisition of Minet and has played a key role in advancing Aon’s United strategy over 28 years.

As president, he was involved in integrating Aon’s risk capital and human capital capabilities and overseeing the firm’s "3x3 Plan."

Aon also named Denise Perlman as chief executive officer of its North America Middle Market practice, effective April 1. Perlman will lead a team focused on providing solutions for middle-market clients across risk and human capital while collaborating with Aon Business Services.

She joins Aon from Marsh McLennan Agency, where she was president of the national business insurance division.

Aon is also set to welcome John Neal, who will leave his role as CEO of Lloyd’s later this year to take on a senior position with the firm.

Neal, who led Lloyd’s for more than six years, will join Aon as global CEO of reinsurance and global chairman of climate solutions. Lloyd’s has not yet confirmed his departure date.

Other moves

Last December, the company appointed Anne Corona as CEO of enterprise clients and global chief commercial officer. Corona’s role includes collaboration with leaders in Aon’s Enterprise Client Group and regional chief commercial officers.

The move supports the company’s ongoing development of its next-generation Aon Client Leadership strategy, which aims to deliver integrated solutions to help clients manage their risks. The company also named Magnus Roe as global chief data and analytics officer. He is responsible for advancing the company’s capabilities in analytics and helping clients make data-informed decisions.
