AmWINS Group has announced that it has completed its acquisition of Seacoast Brokers and Trident Claims Management. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Seacoast, based in South Carolina, is a personal lines specialty MGA that designs, distributes and services surplus lines homeowners’ business across the country. Trident is a licensed third-party claims administrator that manages claims on all Seacoast-issued policies.

The two companies will become part of AmWINS’ Access division, a nationwide delegated-authority business that focuses on small commercial property and casualty lines.
AmWINS is the largest independent wholesaler of specialty insurance products in the US, serving retail insurance agents by providing P&C products, specialty group benefit products and administrative services. The North Carolina-based company operates in more than 100 offices globally and handles premium placements of more than $14 billion annually.
