Alliant Insurance Services has announced the appointment of Andy Nebens as senior vice president in its employee benefits group. Nebens will be based in New York.
Nebens is an attorney with more than 30 years of experience in the benefits space. Prior to joining Alliant, he served as chief people officer for a global media and technology company.
Nebens has also served as assistant general counsel for compensation and benefits at two of the world’s largest consumer package goods companies. He has also served as global head of compensation and benefits at one of the world’s leading providers of technology, communications, information and entertainment products, Alliant said.

“Andy’s breadth of experience gives him a unique perspective on the inner working of large-scale organizations and the risks and challenges they face,” said Kevin Overbey, president of Alliant Employee Benefits. “Having Andy on board increases our depth of knowledge and allows us to better understand and act on behalf of our clients and their employees. He knows what it takes to succeed in a complex and changing benefits marketplace, and he can help his clients find a competitive edge.”
Nebens is the latest addition to Alliant’s employee benefits group. Last month, the company announced the appointment of George Close as vice president in the group. In November, it brought on Houston-based Rich Wilson as a senior vice president.
